Course Description

This 8 hour course will cover topics related to oncology massage, and massage in hospital and hospice settings. The course will delve into practical concerns like HIPAA, modifications, and contraindications, while also exploring the myriad benefits of touch for medically-fragile populations. David will share many real-world experiences of working in these settings and will offer insights into practicing self-care and exploring the stages of grief that come along with this important work. The ultimate aim of the course is to empower massage therapists to confidently share their therapeutic touch in any setting and with any client.
