Course Description
Using Neuromuscular techniques, learn to treat conditions associated with an anterior rotation of the pelvis. Conditions treated include a "swayback" posture, chronic low back pain, headaches and "forward head" posture. Part of the 100-hour Neuromuscular Therapy Certificate program. This class runs from 8:30am to 5pm with a half hour lunch break. 8 Credit Hours Instructor Bio: Starting her professional life as a (living history) park ranger, Kathleen has moved throughout the United States many times, following her or her husband’s (also a park ranger) career. She has been an instructor in massage therapy programs for as long as she’s been practicing massage (25+ years) in South Carolina, Texas and New Mexico. Bringing her passion for the scientific side of massage to the Kinesiology classes in the basic massage programs and teaching it in a way that makes it relatable to the students is her strength. In the last 10 years, she has developed and instructed the Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy Certification program and has certified many therapists in the 100 hour certification program. In her off time, she tends to the gardens, feeds the birds, goes camping, and traveling is a must!
